Photography applies the same expertise and attention to photographs
for publication, whether corporate or for the arts, as we do to any
wedding or portrait.
We understand that these photos are often the first impression given
to prospective clients and associates. D'Angelo Studio will take the
time to discuss with you the end product, the message you wish to
convey, as well as the intended audience for the images. It is always
easier to achieve the desired results if the photographer can spend
some time with the client first. This does not mean hours but a few
minutes to discuss your needs, observe your approach to people and
situations and show you some examples of our work we feel are relevant.
Of course you are welcome to bring in a few photos you particularly
like, regardless of who took them, and samples of how the photos will
be used. We will go through them with you and let you know what we
can do keeping in mind the ultimate goal of portraying you at your
best for a particular purpose.
We also recognize that this type of photography is often needed quickly
and we will always do our best to accommodate deadlines.
D'Angelo Studio corporate shots are done with professional cameras
using professional format and quality film, while we use 35mm cameras
and film for headshot situations. We still feel this is the best way
to assure our customers of the longevity of their images whereas the
digital media is a still evolving technology. The very same aspect
of the evolution of digital is the one which causes concern regarding
longevity of images - the technology is changing so much and so fast
that the storage of the images is not likely to keep up. We will and
do offer digital products where needed, but the basic capture of an
image is still safest when done with the proven technology of photographic
equipment and film.
